Cowboy Dream (Acceptance Is An Arrow)

“A dark, cinematic piece of mythic Americana…” - Arizona Daily Sun

About the Album

Cowboy Dream (Acceptance Is An Arrow) is an Avant/Experimental Folk LP by Joshua Hill that explores memory, myth, and personal loss. Written during the pandemic and inspired by the artist’s father’s dementia, Greek myth, Rumi, and personal memory, the album is a surreal journey through grief, acceptance, and self-discovery.

One month since its September 2026 release, the album’s story and singles I Am Tree, For A Little While and Mask Of The Sun were featured on a 20 minute Deep Dive on KJZZ’s The Show, Phoenix’s NPR, and the cover of Arizona Daily Sun Flag Live!. The single Blue Left Hand has been in rotation on John Diliberto’s Echoes, a nationally syndicated radio program through PRX. Hill performed the single “For A Little While” at “The Reimagine Summit: Grief In Our Time” an event with over 1,500 attendees.
